Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Businesses

CBT has a track record of bringing about change in people with psychological problems effectively and efficiently. The principles of CBT can be applied to 'fixing' problems but can likewise be applied to prevent problems from occurring. The Partnership can establish links with your company or organisation and offer in house cognitive behaviour therapy and mindfulness training. The Partnership can also offer in-house resiliency building programmes to prevent people developing problems with stress, anger and burn-out.

The Benefits of CBT for business

The benefits for you as an employer are that you will be respected for taking a pro-active stance in preventing stress related problems. Through early intervention your employees will improve productivity and reduce loss of productivity (reduction of sick leave).

How does it work?

There are several options - we are flexible in our approach and can structure the CBT in a way that suits your organisation and its people. For example, we could run Mindfulness Courses and Resiliency Building courses within your company, the cost of which could be (partially) funded by the employer. We could make individual CBT available to your employees as a preventative measure or to help employees recover more quickly from psychological problems.

How much would it cost?

As you would expect, costs are variable depending on your requirements. We can offer our services on an ad-hoc basis, or on a subscription (package) basis. For more information contact our director Henck van Bilsen here henck@cbt-partnership.org

CBT demonstration: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and CBT in Action

Liz and Henck demonstrate cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) in action. Liz roleplays a client suffering from OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). Henck motivates her to engage in behaviours that trigger high levels of anxiety and to FEEL the anxiety without the usual avoidance strategies. By doing this Liz learns that the anxiety gradually reduces. This technique is called EXPOSURE AND RESPONSE PREVENTION. Click on ‘read more’ and the video will play.
