Lynne van Bilsen

A Consultant Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, Lynne specialises in anxiety problems (including obsessive compulsive problems and post traumatic stress disorder), depressive disorders and couple & family problems.

Lynne initially trained as a psychiatric nurse in New Zealand and went on to train as a cognitive behaviour therapist in 1977. She has worked in this capacity in the NHS and Private Sector for 18 years before returning to New Zealand and taking up the post of clinical tutor for a post-graduate course in cognitive behaviour therapy. She has continued to work in private practice until the present time. Lynne regularly attends training workshops to keep up with most recent clinical developments.

Previous Experience

Lynne worked as a clinical nurse specialist providing CBT services in the NHS. She lead CBT services at the Priory Hospital in North London for 2 years and following this has worked independently in the private sector.
