
Henck van Bilsen
A Consultant Cognitive Behaviour Therapist & Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Henck specialises in complex and long-standing problems – and regularly presents at national and international conferences on motivational issues.
Our Team
Henck celebrated his 25th anniversary as a clinical psychologist in 2004. He originally trained in the Netherlands as a clinical psychologist, where he also completed his psychotherapy training, specialising in cognitive behaviour therapy. Henck is an accredited member of the British association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). He is also accredited as a trainer and supervisor by the BABCP. He currently divides his time between the CBT Partnership and the Canterbury Christ Church University where he is Director of CBT programmes.
Previous Experience
Previously he held positions as the academic director of the Auckland Institute for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (New Zealand), consultant clinical psychologist (personality disorders) and deputy director of the ‘Pedologisch Instituut Rotterdam’ (the Netherlands). Since 1990 he has worked in private practice.
