Brian Thomson

A Senior Associate Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, Brian specialises in the treatment of people with personality problems.

Brian is based at our Huntingdon practice.

Brian is an experienced psychological therapist. He currently has an appointment as a senior lecturer in Mental Health Studies at the University of Hertfordshire. At the University he is – among other things – responsible for teaching cognitive behaviour therapy principles to aspiring cognitive behaviour therapists.

He has joined the CBT-Partnership to be able to focus in his work as a therapist on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Previous Experience & Training

Brian has a professional background in psychiatric nursing and has received a diploma in cognitive behaviour therapy. Extensive experience in the treatment of emotional problems like anxiety and depression as well is in the treatment of people with serious and enduring mental ill health.
